Wearing parts can largely be replaced, while refurbishment can update furniture with new fronts, interiors, castors or glides. Relevant spare parts are usually available for 10 years or longer.

VS combines long product life with responsible material choices, resource efficient production and independently verified standards. The aim is practical: reduce waste, keep furniture in service and make environmental information easier to assess.

Materials kept in circulation
VS designs products so materials can be separated at the end of their useful life. Chipboard contains up to 70% recycled material, while key aluminium cast parts use 100% recycled aluminium.
Action at the factory
VS uses rooftop solar power, heat networks and wood production residues to generate energy at Tauberbischofsheim. The site operates certified environmental and energy management systems.

PantoSwing LuPo and Jumper Air Active are certified to standard version 4.1. The certificate is valid until 16 January 2028.
